Blue-eyed Dolls

At our school there is a "Blue-eyed Doll" given by the American Dr. Gulick in May 1927. Her name is "Mary Francis Sherman." She made it through the time of the great war, and she is kept even now at the school. Associated with this doll, in January 1992 a second-generation doll named "Donna" was given by Mr. Gulick, 3d, grandson of the original person who sent the dolls. These dolls play a role in educational activities for international understanding as well as being good friends with the children.
