Our Thoughts About Making This Home Page

What about the history of the Blue-eyed Doll and how long she was hidden? I learned very well about such things as the Ichimatsu Doll and Martha being together for a long time when the country was at war. I think we students at Osawa Elementary School want to continue to take good care of the Blue-eyed Doll here.

I knew about Martha being hidden away for a long time, but I did not know she was found only recently (10 years ago). When doing work on the history of the war and reading that people said "They are enemy dolls!" and destroyed them, I was surprised they could do such a thing. Since I am now a 5th grader, as a student at Osawa Elementary School for one more year, I want to take good care of Martha and her friends.

I thought that they did terrible things to the Blue-eyed Dolls by burning and destroying them, saying they were dolls from a foreign country. However, it's good that many dolls have been found. Also, I think it will be great if dolls not yet found are found soon.
